The commonly used hydraulic combination seals for hydraulic cylinders in ceramic factories and ceramic factories are mainly composed of a combination of O-shaped sealing rings, square sealing rings, U-shaped sealing rings, Y-shaped sealing rings, YX-shaped sealing rings, and other special shaped hydraulic sealing rings
The sealing performance of V-shaped sealing rings is good, and the number of sealing rings used can be determined based on the working pressure. Usually, the adjustment of the pressure cap is needed to compensate for the wear of the sealing ring. Its fatal weakness is its complex structure, which usually consists of a support ring, a sealing ring, and a pressure ring. Its frictional resistance is large and increases with the increase of working pressure and the number of sealing rings. Therefore, V-shaped sealing rings are only suitable for hydraulic cylinders with low movement speed and high working pressure.
U-shaped sealing ring has good sealing performance, but when used alone, it is extremely prone to rolling. Therefore, it needs to be used in conjunction with a tin bronze support ring, which has a high frictional resistance and increases with the increase of working pressure. Therefore, U-shaped sealing rings are only suitable for hydraulic cylinders with low working pressure or low movement speed.
Y-shaped sealing ring Y-shaped sealing ring is maintained by its open lip tightly adhering to the sealing surface, and can usually be used alone. Its sealing performance is good, friction resistance is small, pressure resistance is good, working stability is good, and service life is long. Therefore, the Y-shaped sealing ring is suitable for hydraulic cylinders with high-speed variable pressure, large cylinder diameter, and large stroke.
