Preparation And Precautions Before Starting The Oil Seal

a. Thoroughly inspect the mechanical seals, as well as the installation of ancillary devices and pipelines, to ensure they are complete and meet technical requirements.
b. Perform a static pressure test before starting the mechanical seal to check for any leakage. If there is a significant leakage, the cause should be identified and efforts should be made to eliminate it. If it is still ineffective, it should be disassembled for inspection and reinstalled. The general static pressure test pressure is 2-3 kilograms per square centimeter.
c. Rotate the pump towards the turning gear and check if it is light, fast, and even. If the turning is difficult or not moving, the assembly dimensions should be checked for errors and the installation should be reasonable.
