Precautions for Seals

1. Before designing the groove, please self study and read the instructions for each series of products to distinguish whether the product is using an integral groove or a separate groove; During the installation of seals, attention should be paid to avoiding sharp edges, and installation tools must be used to install the seal into the overall groove; Designers need to consider parameters such as groove size accuracy, surface roughness, extrusion clearance, etc. Please refer to product instructions, illustrations, and size tables for details. 2. Before installing the sealing element, it is necessary to ensure that there are no impurities or cracks in the sealing groove, and apply operating oil to the sealing groove and the surface of the sealing element respectively; Install the seals gradually in order; During the installation process, avoid sharp edges and straighten the sealing components to avoid twisting and tilting; If it is a split groove, finally tighten the pressure cover.
